Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) will temporarily close Runway 9-27, the Airport’s main east-west runway, nightly beginning Monday, January 22, 2018 at 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018 for taxiway improvements.

Runway 9-27 will be closed at Night for the Taxiway Intersection Improvement Project. This closure will allow the construction crew to complete work in the runway safety area on the north side of Runway 9-27.

FXE is now operating under normal 24/7 hours. Fuel is also available, check with FBO's for current services. U.S. Customs is operating on it's normal schedule of 8:00 AM to Midnight.

The Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) will close when sustained winds reach 50 MPH (43 knots). Please make sure that all aircraft, equipment, objects and loose debris are properly secured, stored, or removed.

Survey work for the Airfield Lighting Rehabilitation Project begins April 17th, 2017 at 10:00 PM. Pilots and operators can expect Nightly closures of Runway 13-31 and portions on Taxiway Golf from April 17 - 22, 2017, with other closures to follow.
