    The 2018 Pilots’ Choice Awards results were recently released by Fltplan.com, and Executive Airport is pleased to announce that our U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Facility and Air Traffic Control Tower (ATC) received top honors.

    Inaugural Uptown 5K on the Runway

    The compassion, hope, and healing that Trustbridge Hospice provides will take flight during the inaugural Uptown 5K on the Runway, set for Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE). Trustbridge Hospice Foundation and FXE have partnered to host a 5K run/walk event and, for the first time in FXE’s history, people, not planes, will take off from the runway– no boarding pass, luggage, or fee required.

    An upcoming Airport project will be closing portions of Taxiway Foxtrot between Taxiway Foxtrot 5 and Taxiway Romeo. These closures will be starting January 14, 2019 for approximately 4 weeks.

    Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport hosted Fly Pink to raise awareness for breast cancer prevention and help improve the lives of Fort Lauderdale employees and airport tenants. More than 300 people participated in this lunchtime event that included a 1-mile walk with Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean J. Trantalis, wellness activities, guest speakers, and the Fly Pink Raffle for a Cure.
