FAA Air Traffic Control Tower Ribbon Cutting Feb. 2015

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), in partnership with the City of Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Air Traffic Control Tower on February 25, 2015. The 7,200 square-foot tower is 117 feet tall and is topped by a 525-square-foot tower cab. The $16.4 million project was funded by the FAA and built on City property.
